Drawing on years of international and local clinical experience, including surgical rotations at Harvard Medical School and Singapore General Hospital, Dr. Lau brings a highly technical and precise approach to longevity and aesthetic medicine. He combines a deep interest in regenerative science and anti-aging medicine with minimally invasive aesthetic procedures to achieve subtle, life-enhancing results that bolster his patients' self-esteem. As a published author and physician trainer, Dr. Lau remains at the forefront of medical innovation, striving to help his patients not only reach peak health but also reduce the visible effects of aging to bring out their natural beauty from within.
As Chief Medical Officer of Pilot Medical Group, Dr. Lau spearheads the clinical direction of our innovative ecosystem. Associate Professor Cheung Wang Chi joins us as a Technology Advisor, bringing a world-class academic foundation and deep technical expertise to our innovation ecosystem. He holds a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Currently serving in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering and Management at the National University of Singapore (NUS), A/Prof Cheung stands at the forefront of research in artificial intelligence and operations research.
His work specializes in data-driven optimization, reinforcement learning, and predictive analytics—critical areas for startups building scalable, intelligent systems. By combining the rigorous mathematical training of Cambridge with the innovation-driven ethos of MIT, A/Prof Cheung offers our partner companies high-level guidance on technical architecture and algorithmic strategy. He plays a key role in helping ventures translate complex theoretical models, such as multi-armed bandits and real-time resource allocation, into commercially viable products that drive efficiency and growth.
Prof Sam Yam
Strategic Commercial Advisor
Professor Sam Yam joins us as a Strategic Commercial Advisor, bringing world-class expertise in leadership and organizational dynamics to our venture building ecosystem. He currently serves as the Jardine Cycle & Carriage Professor and Head of the Department of Management and Organization at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. Widely recognized as one of the most influential young business minds globally, he was named one of the "Best 40 Under 40 Business Professors" by Poets&Quants—the youngest academic to receive this honor at the time.
Professor Yam’s research stands at the forefront of the Future of Work, exploring the critical intersection of business ethics, leadership, and artificial intelligence. Mr. Chung Ting Fai joins us as Legal Advisor, bringing over three decades of distinguished expertise in legal advocacy, regulatory strategy, and cross-border structuring to Pilot Medical Group’s governance framework.
As the Founder and Managing Partner of Chung Ting Fai & Co., he is widely respected within Singapore’s legal community. He is also well-regarded by members of the legal profession in China for his cross-border advisory work and long-standing engagement with regional institutions.
Mr. Chung advises prominent families and family offices from China, Japan, ASEAN, and Africa on complex business structuring, investment migration, trusts, legacy preservation, and estate planning. His depth of experience navigating multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments and safeguarding long-term institutional interests provides valuable perspective as Pilot Medical Group expands across Asia.
A frequent speaker and lecturer on the evolving regulatory implications of artificial intelligence, Mr. Chung offers strategic guidance on aligning technological innovation with robust governance and compliance frameworks. His counsel is particularly vital as we advance healthcare AI solutions within increasingly sophisticated data and regulatory landscapes.
Internationally, he serves as a panel arbitrator with the Hainan International Arbitration Court and as a Board Member of the Cambodia Centre for Mediation.
